Jack Ross teaches Academic and Creative Writing at Massey University's Auckland campus. He has published a novella, Trouble in Mind (2005), and two novels The Imaginary Museum of Atlantis (2006) and EMO (2008) with Titus Books, other publications include an earlier novel, Nights with Giordano Bruno (2000). Ross edited Landfall 214. Michael Steven has described him as a "maverick translator", while Michael Morrisey has this to say about him: "Tired of airport books? Bored by Tom Clancy and Dan Brown?
